You only thought you've seen everything in recycling & repurposing
High Point, North Carolina - Based in Archdale, North Carolina, Drum Works Furniture has worked hard to establish not only a manufacturing technique, but a brand of distinct furniture from repurposed 55 gallon steel oil drums.
Drum Works Furniture re-purposes recycled 55 gallon steel drums to form both indoor and outdoor seating, bars, shelving units as well as commercial and retail seating and display solutions. The steel drums used in construction of these items use eco-friendly powder coated finishes to achieve eye popping colors and textures. (Powder coat is an electrostatic applied "paint like" finish that is resistant to rust, scratches and chipping and is low VOC.)
After a successful debut of our unique repurposed furniture line at the Fall 2013 Market, Drum Works Furniture has moved ahead with their trendy furniture designs and creating more excitement at the Spring 2014 High Point Furniture Market with new colors and designs.
Clearly the darling of Drum Works Furniture's new line up at Spring Market was the "Topsail Collecttion"; a four piece ensemble of a love seat, two arm chairs and a table, done in a striking turquoise finish with Sunbrella "Castanet Beach" fabric.
"The Topsail Collection" is a home run, states Drum Works Furniture chief designer, Rich Oakley. "Everyone loves this set."
